A lovely coffee table designed by by Rodney Kinsman, manufactured by Bieffeplast in Italy around 1970.
The table has a chome plated tubular metal frame in square shape, holding a smoked glass top. The piece is designed with visible connections in the structure and metal holders for the glass top. They allow some space between the top and frame, almost as if the top is floating inside the frame. All together it’s this eye for detail that makes this a very nice, modern piece of Italian mid-century design!
It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. There are some very small chips to the top, but they are hidden at the underside and barely visible.
