This is a nice side / easy chair by Dutch designer Dirk van Sliedregt in highly recognizable style. Made of natural rattan in elegantly curved shapes. This was a very popular style in the Netherlands around the 1950s, and nowadays it’s a much sought after style worldwide! The tubular black lacquered metal frame is a nice finish to it’s design. This piece remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
