A beautiful lounge chair designed by Harry Bertoia, manufactured by Knoll International in the USA around 1970.
This iconic piece is named the “Big Diamond”, after the bent diamond shape of the seat. Made of black lacquered wire metal on a tubular metal base. The curved shapes of the seat provide a nice seating comfort which can be complimented by for example a cushion or a sheepskin, though the chair is also beautiful as it is. A great piece that will definitely draw the attention in any decor!
It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
