A beautiful “Concorde” lounge chair, a famous design by Pierre Paulin, manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1970.
This iconic modern piece is beautifuly upholstered in new, high quality red fabric. This creates a nice contrast to the grey aluminium base and gives the piece a real eye-catching appeal! A chair that earned it’s spot in the history of furniture design and will definitely draw the attention of any design enthusiast! Originally designed for the waiting room of the French Concorde aircraft. It provides comfort, beauty and elegance thanks to the curved finish and ergonomic shape.
The piece is labeled underneath the frame, as shown in photos.
It remains in very good condition with new upholstery and only minor wear to the base consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
