This iconic swivel chair, model S231, with matching ottoman was manufactured by De Sede in Switzerland around 1970.

This elegant and impressive set has a chrome plated metal crossbase that provides a wonderful yet elegant modern appeal. The brown leather upholstery has a nice warm colour with a beautiful patina which is very fitting for this material. De Sede is famous for their leather work and this set is no exception! The chair’s ergonomic design ensures a comfortable seating experience which is greatly complimented by the armrests and of course the matching ottoman. With its blend of aesthetics and functionality, this chair is a perfect addition to any interior!

This design earned world fame after being featured in the James Bond movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”!

The sizes of the chair are W. 82 x D. 80 x H. 85 (SH. 40) cm
The sizes of the stool are W. 65 x D. 65 x H. 34 cm

The set remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear that is consistent with its age and use and preserves a beautiful patina.
