A lovely floor lamp, model “Tebe”, designed by Ernesto Gismondi and manufactured by Artemide in Italy around 1980.
The lamp has a sturdy, black lacquered metal base with round foot. It’s strong appearance is countered by the elegant cream coloured glass shade in semi circle shape. This gives the piece a unique appeal, minimalist and modern yet beautifully finished with an elegant touch. When lit, it emits a bright upwards light that adds a nice warmth not only to the peice itself but also to the decor. A wonderful find that will be a fantastic addition to the interior!
This beautiful piece of Italian design remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
