We would like to tell you our story…
De Vreugde Design & Collectables started in 1999 as a small shop in Amsterdam, being one of the first vintage design shops in the Netherlands! Now we have grown to be an international dealer in vintage design with loyal clients from all over the world.
Jan Willem and Soraya van de Vreugde started this company in the Jordaan district. One of the oldest areas in Amsterdam, nowadays very popular among locals and tourists to visit the many specialized shops, antique dealers and art galleries. There are many bars and restaurant, making it a very lively place to be.
After a few years they opened the 1500 m2 warehouse in the village of Wilnis, just outside of Amsterdam. Three floors filled with vintage design furniture and lighting. The business still runs from there today and stock updates continually.
We also have a lot of experience with wholesale to dealers worldwide. We handle special prices for wholesale clients, feel free to ask about the possibilities. We carefuly pack your items and can help arranging shipment by truck or container, all included in an attractive wholesale price.
