A beautiful side chair designed by René Gabriel, manufactured in France in the 1950s.
An elegant chair with a timeless design, made of high quality beech wood in very nice warm brown colour. Its gently curved backrest and simple, tapered legs reflect the French post-war modernist emphasis on practicality and comfort while also offering an elegant appeal. A lovely find that will be a nice touch to any decor, definitely drawing the attention of any design enthusiast!
The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
