Designed in the 1980s by Dutch designer Aldo van den Nieuwelaar for Pastoe, the Amsterdammer cabinet is a fine example of minimalist Dutch furniture design. Finished in a deep dark blue, its clean geometric form and carefully balanced proportions create a timeless and architectural appearance. There is some minor damage to the sides, as shown in the photos, but it is not particularly distracting.
