A lovely set of three nesting tables designed by Jan Schrofer, manufactured by Ahrend de Cirkel in the Netherlands in the 1930s.
Made of high quality chrome plated metal with black laminated wooden tops. The bent curves of the tubular frame, contrasting colours and the subtle bent corners at the rectangular tops all add to the typical Bauhaus style of the pieces. A lovely set from the early 90s that is beautiful and versatile at the same time! The tables can nest together, be placed separately across the room or as a group, each use having it’s own aesthetic value and practicality. A lovely find!
The tables remain in good, vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
