A beautiful magazine holder model “Cap d’Ail” by Mathieu Matégot, manufacutred by Atelier Matégot in France 1950.
This lovely piece is made of high quality black perforated metal with wonderful elegant shapes to the frame. A highly recognizable piece by iconic designer Matégot! The integrated handle adds to the ease of use of this appealing piece that has plenty of storage capacity for magazines and similar items. A wonderful addition to any modern decor!
It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
