A lovely magazine rack designed by Cees Braakman, manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1950.
This modern piece is made of black lacquered wood with a folding structure. One panel is closed with some perforated circles, the other side has thin tubular spokes. This all adds nicely to the unique style of this piece, a highly recognizable and decorative detail to the interior!
It remains in good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
