A unique low stool / fire side chair, attributed to Charles Dudouyt and manufactured in France around 1950.
Made of high quality oak wood with a rush seat. The thick and rounded structure of the frame makes the piece sturdy yet modern with a nice rustic appeal. It’s a low stool, designed as a fire side chair but could also be used as a stylish children chair! It’s a lovely find of mid-century seating that will add a unique personality to the interior.
This lovely chair remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
