A beautiful single unit “Abstracta” system cabinet designed by Poul Cadovius, manufactured by Royal System in Denmark in the 1960s.

This elegant cabinet is made of high quality black lacquered metal. It has a thin, tubular metal frame with the connections in each corner allowing the piece to be built up and disassembled easily, but also be put in different settings and positions or even be extended with additional pieces. The blurred glass tops add nicely to it’s modern style and creates a sense of harmony to the overall design. It’s an iconic find of mid-century design that will allow for many different uses in different kinds of decors as a striking decorative piece, a storage unit or a display cabinet.

The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
