An iconic “Crate” chair, originally designed by Gerrit Rietveld, manufactured in the Netherlands around 1960.
Made of high quality gray painted pine wood, this eye-catching chair owes it’s name to the minimalist, modern structure with wooden panels in square and rectangular shapes. It’s an innovative and iconic design that has a really nice seating comfort. The grey colour makes it fit seamlessly in many kinds of decors. The Rietveld design is one of the most sought after pieces of mid-century Dutch design. This is a beautiful production inspired by his design from the mid-century that will definitely draw the attention in any decor!
It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
