An eye-catching hanging lamp, model “Pallade”, designed by Studio Tetrecht and manufactured by Artemide in Italy around 1960.
This playful, modern design is the result of a collaboration between designers Adelaide Bonati, Silvio Bonatti, Enrico De Munari, and Carla Federspiel. Made of a orange lacquered metal orb with a large glass diffuser to reveal a bright, directional light. The thin metal chain connects the shade to the matching orange ceiling rose. This piece has a spage-ace like style and will definitey draw the attention in the decor while lighting up the room all the same. A wonderful find of mid-century modern design that will add that iconic mid-century flair to any interior!
Marked on the shade as shown in the photos.
The lamp remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
