A lovely floor lamp, model “Serpente”, designed by Elio Martinelli and manufactured by Martinelli in Italy around 1960.

A beautiful floor lamp in typical midcentury Italian style: made from white lacquered metal with a white perspex hood, curved in a unique shape that challenges the norm! This eye-catching model, named “Serpente” after the elegant shape-like curves, shows how materials can blend together to create a wonderful harmonious shape. It’s adjustable in different positions as shown in photos. A smooth, versatile design that would fit perfectly in any style of interior!

It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
