A beautiful hanging lamp, manufactured by Raak in the Netherlands around 1970.
The piece has a wonderful round design with a large aluminium disk and round black metal top. These colours contrast nicely and add a beautiful appeal to this modern lamp. When lit, it emits a bright downwards light making it especially suitable for above a dining table. A very nice find of Dutch mid-century design lighting!
The lamp remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
