A beautiful hanging lamp, model BT1041 “Calot”, designed by Claus Bonderup & Torsten Thorup and manufactured by Carl Hansen & Son in Denmark around 1970.
This is an elegant, modern design with a lovely round, minimalist shape. Made of high quality white lacquered metal, allowing the piece to seamlessly fit into many different decors. The white fabric cable keeps the harmony in the design. All together, ads a subtle touch of modernist luxury to the interior while emitting a bright, downwards light. This makes the piece most suitable for a dining room, living area or any space looking for some nice additional light and atmosphere. A beautiful find of mid-century Scandinavian design!
It remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
