An iconic bar stool designed by Charlotte Perriand for Les Arcs in France around 1970.
The chrome plated tubular metal frame is nicely bent and elegantly finished. It holds a thick cognac leather seat that is beautifully connected to the frame and creates a nice contrast the this modern design. A real eye-catcher to the interior with a surprising seating comfort as well! The materials and design allow for a sense of luxury as well as modernism that makes this a timeless find. Designed and manufactured with an impressive eye for detail, this piece is a much sought after favourite in the world of mid-century design.
The stool remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
