A beautiful “Concorde” lounge chair, a famous design by Pierre Paulin, manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1970.
Newly upholstered in fantastic quality fabric with a unique circled pattern in different shades of gray. This gives the piece a unique appearance! Matching nicely to the white lacquered metal base. A chair that earned it a spot in the history of furniture design and will definitely draw the attention of any design enthusiast! Originally designed for the waiting room of the French Concorde aircraft. They provide comfort, beauty and elegance thanks to the curved finish and ergonomic shape.
It remains in very good, vintage condition with new upholstery and minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
