A beautiful pair of “Concorde” lounge chairs, a famous design by Pierre Paulin, manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1970.
Upholstered in dark blue fabric on a grey aluminum base. The combination of colours and materials adds a nice harmony to this modern design. A chair that earned it a spot in the history of furniture design and will definitely draw the attention of any design enthusiast! Originally designed for the waiting room of the French Concorde aircraft. They provide comfort, beauty and elegance thanks to the curved finish and ergonomic shape.
Sold as a set – the price is for the two chairs together.
They remain in very good, vintage condition with original upholstery and minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
