A beautiful hanging lamp, model “B1017”, designed by André Rotte and manufactured by Raak in the Netherlands around 1980.
The piece has a high quality, milk glass shad with four white metal rings around it in different sizes. This creates a really nice, layered effect and a modern sense of elegance to the piece! When lit, it emits a bright light that is gently diffused through the glass, and combined with the metal elements it allows the light to spread out really nicely. A lovely find of mid-century Dutch lighting!
The lamp remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
