A beautiful black leather lounge chair manufactured by Matteo Grassi in Italy in the 1980s.

This rare post-modern lounge chair is fully upholstered in black leather. That goes for the seat and back, but also for the metal frame! This gives the piece a unique, harmonious and luxurious appeal. The frame is nicely bent into shape and the backwards tilted seat has a gently curved, ergonomic shape that adds to the comfort as well as the elegant style of the piece. A beautiful and most recognizable find of mid-century Italian design!

The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
