The “Groeten uit Holland” (Greetings from Holland) chair is a unique design by Rob Eckhardt, manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1980.
Inspired by the Dutch tulip, this asymmetrical chair has an eye-catching style! It is upholstered in a nice light beige leather. This materials adds a really nice contract to the black metal base, both in structure and color. It adds a sense of luxury to this iconic piece! A wonderful find of Dutch design that will be a valuable addition to any decor. It has a very comfortable seat as well, allowing to seating positions: the regular position, or sideways for a real lounge experience.
The piece remains in good, vintage condition. It is structurally sound but well used as reflected in the leather, but without real damages. Overall the piece still has a beautiful appeal and is ready for many years of use, preserving a beautiful patina.
