A lovely ceramics artwork by Jan Snoeck, manufactured in the Netherlands in the 1990s.
This very nice, colourful artwork was originally used in the MS Volendam ship and designed by famous Dutch artist Jan Snoeck (1927-2018). Made of beautiful ceramics in bright colours, a tile pattern layer covered with organic shaped, laid in colourful pieces. The bright use of colour as well as it’s playful style is typical for Snoeck’s art. Framed in a golden plated wooden frame, which creates a nice contrast to the piece! This wonderful artwork will definitely be an eye-catcher in any interior!

The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The frame is original and has some signs of use.
